ERIC MARTINEZ

Designer I

Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is currently obtaining his Master’s Degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Since he’s been with ONYX, Eric has worked on Master Planning, Mixed-Use, and various housing projects. He has also worked on Historical assessments and building design reviews in collaboration with local jurisdiction. Eric continues to be involved in his fields of interest, which are architecture and planning.

As lead guitarist and vocalist, Eric once played in a rock/punk band, getting to gigs in his 1965 Mustang. No longer in a band, Eric does pick up the guitar from time to time and will play riffs from Guns N’ Roses or AC/DC. He still has the Mustang and plays the classic jams that he loves.
