ONYX designed two separate buildings around a shared, socially interactive courtyard containing fountains, benches and gardens.

A four-story structure provides 72 one-bedroom apartments for seniors. Each unit has an outdoor patio; each floor has a common lounge and the complex has a larger, community room and library on the main floor. Residents at the housing complex are provided with gardening plots behind the community center.

A separate building houses a community center with a variety of multipurpose rooms and a daycare center. A commercial kitchen and dining space is also part of the program. These rooms are used for adult education, special seminars, community and civic meetings, and family banquets.

The modern craftsman style, quality materials and historical photographs all add to a sense of civic pride and a place of belonging.
