PRINCIPAL EMERITUS
Doug is a member of the firm’s Urban Practice Group, serving as Project Manager or Designer. His ability to craft innovative and distinctive solutions for tight spaces is also of great value to the firm’s other practice groups. Doug has a passion for designing buildings and open spaces that fully and carefully utilize the urban environment. Doug is a graduate of Tulane University, and a member of the American Institute of Architects and California Council, and past president of the Society of American Registered Architects. He is licensed in the State of California.
The model car is a scaled-down version of a 1954 Kaiser Darrin, designed by the great designer, coachbuilder. athlete, and racanteur, Howard Darrin. Doug says, “The Kaiser Darrin is a beautiful automobile, a delight to drive, and has stood the test of time. That's why it is one of the inspirations for the design work I do.”
